POST 14: TºL LVA : MY INDIVIDUAL DOCUMENT ON THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE CURRENT HEALTH CRISIS

The video I have chosen shows striking images of wild animals settling in the largest cities around the world. This is a global pandemic and tragic for humans and the economy. What about animals and the environment ?

Bween families of ducks crossing the streets of Tel Aviv without fear and families of otters playing freely in the public lawns of Singapore, what is the future of such a weak environment ?

The halting of the world by almost universal containment, the halting of production, tourism and mass transport has allowed the environment to breathe. Man is shutting himself in and cities are empty. A great many wild animals are venturing into them. However, this change of living environment can be dangerous: a puma that gets into your garden could eat your barbecue but also your children.
Other animals suffer from the disappearance of interactions with humans: huge groups of monkeys in India are starving and Nara deer are also looking for humans in Japan.
Moreover, the impressive drop in air and water pollution offers the possibility for example for dolphins to occupy the coast of southern France or the canals of Venice.
The places occupied by men are now places where wild animals can be free.
The biggest question is: what will happen next? One could hope that people become aware of the environment around them, of its fragility. Unfortunately, model and over-powerful countries have already made decisions. In the United States, Trump has declared that the economy comes first and that regulations aimed at preserving the environment will no longer be relevant.

  2. An original document and interesting analysis BUT you do not relate the document to the 'Spaces & Exchanges' notion clearly enough.
An additional paragraph would have been necessary for your post to be really satisfactory.
